Virtual Women in Mining Panel for IVLP Extractive Industry, Africa

Feeling motivated and inspired after spending the morning with the outstanding women in mining from Arizona. Thank you Global Ties Arizona for the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with your guests from the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) representing 7 African nations to discuss women’s empowerment and sustainability in extractive industries. It was an extremely thought-provoking conversation and Jennifer Burge was honored to share news of the Las Mineras: MegaWomen of the MegaRegion Conference sponsored by the U.S. Department of State as an example of successful cross-border intercultural collaboration in mining.
