Growing up in a small town on the shore of Lake Erie, I always knew I wanted to live and work in Europe. My wish was granted in 2001 when my career in management consulting took me to Germany in 2001 and the Netherlands in 2002.

In 2007, I relocated to Singapore where I continued working in IT & traveling extensively throughout Asia. This was when I discovered my passion for writing! Starting with destination pieces for The Guide magazine (Vietnam), I realized that others who sought to work overseas could benefit from the lessons I had learned the hard way. This prompted me to start writing non-fiction memoirs.
